We purchased this skateboard for our 4.5 yr old who wanted a (real) skateboard. He has had smaller ones in the past, but really wanted a big one. This is such a great beginner board. The graphics on the bottom are pretty awesome, the quality has been great for the 6 months of use he has already put into it, and the price is what really sold us. Our little guy absolutely loves his skateboard!! He is already learning tricks and has mastered skating all the way down our slanted driveway. He also takes it everywhere he goes (including his bedroom), haha!!

About This Item
The Kryptonics Recruit series skateboards are great entry-level boards for beginners. All components reflect the look and feel of a professional skateboard and make for a great ride in the park or on the street. With several different designs to choose from, there's a perfect board for everyone. Established in 1965, Kryptonics is one of the most authentic brands in skateboarding and still remains an innovating force in the industry today. Kryptonics changed the skateboarding game in 1976 by developing the first urethane skateboard wheel, and the innovation hasn't stopped since. Kryptonics now dominates the market with a lineup of complete skateboards - including cruisers, longboards, standard 31-inch skatepark models and retro poly plastic "torpedo" boards. Every detailed construction of deck, truck, bearing and wheel is considered to reach all age groups and riding styles. Kryptonics completes come fully assembled with grip-tape and skate hardware, with the option to adjust trucks based on skating preference and ability and remove the protective wheel cover. Always remember to wear skateboard protective gear (skate helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and/or wrist guards) to ensure safety that supports the rider's skill level.

PERFECT BEGINNER BOARD!!
Super high quality for the super low price!
Super high quality! Just received my order today and I LOVE IT! It rides smooth, is easy to adjust, and is over all just really nice quality for the price! The print is high quality if not put on properly in some spots but that's it! Other than that, 10/10!! I added some reference photos for size! I'm a US 6 in Women's so I used some shoes for comparison! Great first board or just a new board to add to a collection! The black and red colors are super chic and have classic skater feel. The wheels are super easy to ride on and aren't bouncy. The board comes shipped assembled and all you have to do is remove the plastic covering! You may need to adjust the tilt especially if you're a little lighter weight! I'm about 105 pounds and could barely get a lean so I had to loosen it but that's expected with any board. The grip tape is much better quality than I was expecting. It has a high grip and is stuck in very well! Sorry for the long review but I wanted to help anyone who is looking for a cheaper high quality board because they can easily be over priced! Thanks for reading and happy skating.
Inexpensive
Sometimes prices change, so I have to say that I paid $14.99 for these. From what I can tell the wheels and bearings are garbage, and the trucks are plastic! My kids haven't even ridden them for 15 minutes yet, so we'll see. But they are small 8yrs and 10yrs girls, so I don't expect these to break. So why 5 stars? $15, that's why. The deck looks solid for a kid's board and the you couldn't buy the grip tape for $5. The deck and tape alone are worth $30 without the crappy trucks, wheels, and bearings that barely roll. But the kids don't know good bearings from bad and they seem happy so far.
Great price for kids wanting to try skateboarding.
This skateboard is prefect for my 6 and 8 year old boys, who all of a sudden decided that they want to learn how to skateboard thanks to watching YouTube at a sleepover. I bought it for $12 which is a great price for something that will eventually/most likely spend the rest of its life sitting in the corner of the garage. We gave it to the boys as Christmas present, and surprise, surprise after weeks of them asking for one, they weren't a bit excited about it. It's winter here in Minnesota so it will be sitting in the garage until spring and then after a few trys with it, it will probably go untouched for the rest of its days.

Great For A 9 year old.
This was purchased for a 9 year old and it was PERFECT! The construction of the board was good and so was the packaging. The only thing that had to get adjusted was the bearings, however, it was an easy fix and he loved it! I think he will be riding it for a few years, as it was made with quality.
